What this site does, and does not do
Stripe for billing
When payment is open, details are entered directly on Stripe; ScreenShield21 does not collect card details.
No advertising tracker
The site integrates no advertising tracker. The secure __Host-sc21_session cookie maintains the Account session for up to 8 hours; signing out removes it.
What the product keeps local
Activity
The activity log stays on the machine: nothing is sent anywhere.
Credentials
The password is verified locally by the security engine.
Biometrics
They never leave the phone where they are configured.
Payments and card details
Accounts, subscriptions, invoices, and commercial entitlements provide no authority to unlock the PC.
Approved retention policy
Production policy: active-account data is kept while necessary to provide and manage the account and commercial relationship. After subscription termination and inactivity, deletion or anonymization within 24 months at most, unless a legitimate or legal requirement applies. Accounting and tax records separately follow the legally required retention period.
Deletion on request
After request verification: removal of operational personal data is targeted within 30 days; residual backups are targeted to expire within 90 days. Legally retained records do not keep a deleted account operational.
Billing opens no door
A licence is a commercial right to use ScreenShield21. It unlocks no computer: that decision stays local.
