Terms

Monthly renews automatically and may be cancelled at any time without fees while service continues through the paid period. The 1-, 2-, and 3-year plans do not renew automatically; a new purchase is required at expiry. No permanent purchase. Prices are in CAD, with no hidden mandatory ScreenShield21 fees. Refunds follow the dedicated policy and applicable statutory rights are preserved.

Privacy policy

Production Account keeps active-account data while necessary to provide and manage the account and commercial relationship. After subscription termination and inactivity, it is deleted or anonymized within 24 months at most, unless a legitimate or legal requirement applies. A verified deletion request targets removal of operational personal data within 30 days; residual backups should expire within 90 days. Accounting and tax records are retained separately for the legally required period. Local Desktop protection data remains separate from account and billing data.

Cookie policy

The secure __Host-sc21_session cookie maintains an Account session for up to 8 hours. It is HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, and removed on sign-out; sign-out does not delete commercial data stored on the server or with Stripe. No advertising tracker is integrated into the site.

Refund policy

A voluntary refund request may be made within 14 days of the initial purchase, or within 7 days of an accidental automatic renewal. After those periods, there is no automatic prorated refund. This policy does not replace applicable statutory rights; billing errors and manually approved exceptions are still considered. Cancellation alone does not create an automatic refund.

Licences

Notices established from the authoritative archives: third-party components actually shipped with Desktop/Updater R3, cloudflared and its dependencies, and third-party assets present in the Companion sources. The inventory links each component to its version, delivered files, SHA-256 hashes and original texts. The Web appendix separately describes source, build and server dependencies. No Android APK or iOS package absent from these archives is covered; these notices do not grant a licence to ScreenShield21 itself.

Use ScreenShield21 only on devices you are authorized to administer.
