Protection modes

The mode determines what someone in front of the screen sees while protection is active.

Key points

  1. Standard: the protection veil is shown and the password field stays visible.
  2. Hidden background: the screen is masked and opaque by design, so intensity is not adjustable.
  3. Discreet: the password field is completely hidden on the lock screen.
  4. In Standard or Discreet mode, veil intensity is adjustable from 15 to 70 per cent.
  5. Before enabling Discreet mode, the application asks you to reproduce the reveal shortcut, confirming you know how to return to normal input.
