Key points

  1. The application activity log stays on the machine and is not transmitted. Companion communications and updates use their separate network paths.
  2. Any biometrics stay on the phone; ScreenShield21 receives a confirmation, never the biometric data.
  3. The PC identity key is protected by DPAPI; the phone key by Android secure storage.
  4. Production Account stores the information needed for authentication and the commercial relationship. Desktop protection data and activity logs remain on the PC.
  5. Review your paired devices and registered media regularly.
