Getting started

Understand what ScreenShield21 does before configuring your protection.

Key points

  1. Install the Windows application, then set your password: it is the mandatory fallback method.
  2. Choose a protection mode on Home: Standard, Hidden background, or Discreet.
  3. Set the automatic protection delay, from 30 seconds to 1,440 minutes.
  4. Add at least a second access method before raising the protection level.
  5. Create recovery media and store it somewhere other than inside the computer.
