The Companion turns a paired phone into a secure controller for the PC.

Key points

  1. Install ScreenShield21 Companion on Android, choose “Add a computer”, and scan the QR code shown on the PC.
  2. After approval on the PC, the phone becomes a permanent trusted device.
  3. The controller shows protection state, lock state, and the permissions granted by the PC.
  4. Available commands depend strictly on permissions: nothing is offered that the PC has not authorized.
  5. No iPhone application exists today; iOS remains deferred.
